Arada awards Dh1.55bn W Residences contract at Dubai Harbour
Dubai’s longest infinity pool and premium amenities to be unveiled
DUBAI — Arada has appointed UAE-headquartered Engineering Contracting Company (LLC) as the main contractor for its highly anticipated W Residences at Dubai Harbour.
The Dh1.55 billion agreement will see all three towers delivered under its terms, marking a significant milestone for the luxury waterfront development.
Early works are already underway, with excavation and piling activities beginning following the award of a Dh51 million enabling works contract to APCC Piling & Marine Contracting.
What’s included?
The main contract covers the construction of 490 branded luxury residences across three towers, alongside premium amenities within a landscaped connecting podium. The Dh5 billion project will offer a mix of apartments, duplexes, and rooftop penthouses with private pools.
Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, described the appointment as a key step for one of the UAE’s most anticipated waterfront destinations. He highlighted that the project combines striking architecture with marina living and panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai’s skyline.
Amenities
Operated by Marriott International, the 40-storey LEED Silver-certified complex will feature Dubai’s longest infinity pool, a 40,000-square-foot fitness centre, residents’ lounges, a music studio, sports simulator, games room, private cinema, guest suites, dining outlets, and co-working spaces.
All residences will incorporate smart home technology, branded interiors, and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Strategically located, the project overlooks Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, and Bluewaters Island. It forms part of the wider Dubai Harbour master plan developed by Shamal Holding, which includes retail, hospitality, cruise, and yachting facilities.
